Automatic Flash Conversion to HTML5 / Javascript enables Flash on the iPhone and the iPad!

I’m sure that you already know by now that Steve Jobs doesn’t like flash. Ok, this is not exactly how he said it… but close enough. (read about his thoughts on Flash). Either way, the fact is that iPhones and iPads doesn’t run Flash. Steve says that all sites should be developed in HTML5 and no flash is needed and flash drains your batteries and flash is the root of all evil, etc.

IPhone and iPad will never support Flash! True Story!

Steve Jobs posted an open letter yesterday explaining why Flash is banned from iPhones, iPods and iPads.

He started saying that he hasn’t got anything against Adobe and also reminded us that once Apple owned 20% of Adobe.

There are 6 reasons, he says, why they don’t and never will use Flash.

iPhone OS 4 is coming soon to an iPhone near you!

Multitasking anyone? Its coming soon to an iPhone near you. Jobs’ words not mine. This is of course if you haven’t already a jailbroken iPhone where you could install several apps that allow multitasking.

But multitasking isn’t coming alone. It comes with a full new version of the iPhone OS (iPhone OS 4) with several new API’s and over 100 new enchancements for the end users. Just to name a few:

The new iPhone 4G in photos!

I just stumbled upon the new long awaited iPhone 4G (or iPhone HD?). By closely examining the photos one can notice… a bigger screen than iPhone 3G or 3GS, a front facing camera, probably for video calls and beautiful multi color faces. We can also notice the brand new stand and charge station, the included cleaning cloth and iPod nano like case. It looks a lot thinner and wider than the current version, too.

So… is this really it or not? My guess goes with the second option. But… then again… [Continue...]
